🌻 What is SistaSoul Search? 🌻

SistaSoul Search is Soul 2 Soul Sisters’ annual sacred gathering for Black Women, femmes, and gender expansive beloveds to rest, replenish, and reconnect. Together, we create a liberatory space for healing, truth-telling, and radical imagination.

Held in love, this retreat is a pause, a powerful exhale, where Black Beloveds can simply be.

💖 Our Love Runs Deep: A Decade of Black Healing & Black Liberation 💖

This year, we gather under the theme Our Love Runs Deep, a call to reclaim love as a sacred, liberatory force. For Black Women, femmes, and gender expansive beloveds, love has too often been distorted, presented as something we must earn through silence, sacrifice, or shrinking. We know the toll of systems that twist love into obligation or invisibility.

Join us for a full day of deep connection: workshops, group activities, spiritual reflection, a dynamic panel, resource sharing, embodied practices, and collective joy. Whether you are seeking rest, inspiration, or a chance to imagine new possibilities for your life and our communities, this retreat is for you.

2 PM Keynote Featuring Dr. Jennifer Mullan, PsyD

In this keynote, Dr. Jennifer Mullan—founder of Decolonizing Therapy®—invites us to remember that rage and grief are not the opposite of love, but its fiercest extensions. When we feel far from love, when exhaustion and fury take hold, we are often standing at the threshold of our deepest longing—for home, for belonging, for safety. Drawing from her Emotional–Decolonial Process, Dr. Jenn explores how grief, rage, and radical tenderness can become sacred technologies for Black liberation. Through the wisdom of ancestors, bell hooks’ teachings on love as a return to our first home, and the reminder that “what combats trauma is abundant collective joy,” this gathering becomes an altar to remember that love is not passive—it is a revolutionary act.
