Rachael Sharp

Rachael is committed to racial equity and social justice through community-based arts, education, and healing. Rachael is a co-founder of Creative Strategies for Change, where she currently works as Executive Director, Artist, and Consultant. She specializes in devised theatre, performance art, dialogue facilitation, and popular education. With more than two decades working in education, Rachael has facilitated innovative programs with people across age and identity. She holds an MA from NYU, and has completed training with Bay Area Nonviolent Communication, Anna Deveare Smith, Julian Boal (Theatre of the Oppressed), Dominic Barter (Restorative Circles), Just Practice, and the Center for Multicultural Education and Programs at NYU, where she taught courses through the commission on Gender, Race and Social Justice, and received the Nia - Lorraine Hansberry award for her innovative work in the arts and social justice.
