DESCRIPTION:Join Soul 2 Soul Sisters’ Black Civic Engagement and Policy team\, alongside our partners from Count Me In\, to learn what is at stake this election season for Black communities. \nWorkshop Details \nVote Like A Freedom Fighter: How tobe an Accomplice for Black Liberation at the Ballot Box \nTuesday\, October 22\, 2024 \n4:00 – 5:30 pm mst / 6:00 – 7:30 pm est \nIn this workshop\, we will walk through what’s on the Colorado state ballot\, highlighting key ballot measures and their intersection with anti-racism. This will be an opportunity to ask questions about what’s on our ballot this year\, learn more about our priorities for the election\, and gain the tools you need to vote up and down the ballot as an accomplice for Black liberation. \nThis workshop is a great opportunity for all voters\, but especially non-Black voters\, to be in dialogue about what it means to vote in alignment with our values and in support of eradicating anti-Black racism. This year\, Colorado voters will be asked to make a lot of decisions – now’s the time to make sure you’re informed and ready!
